“The Banks of Green Willow”

A commemoration concert to mark the repositioning of the Great War memorials at All Saints Parish Church, Loughborough.


The programme takes inspiration from 'The Banks of Green Willow' by George Butterworth who died on the Somme, 1916.  It will include Vaughan Williams' symphony no.3, the 'Pastoral', considered to be his War Requiem.
